High school and college students become the heartbeat of Mad STEMvention — leading lessons, guiding projects, and making STEM fun and accessible for kids. 

Why Volunteer?

What Volunteers Do

• Lead hands-on workshops and labs in schools or community centers

• Assist younger students with projects, experiments, and invention challenges

• Spark curiosity through mentorship and encouragement

• Help design creative activities and lessons

• Collaborate with a team of passionate student educators

Who Can Volunteer?

• High School Students (Grades 9–12)

• College/University Students (any major, STEM interest preferred but not required)

• Enthusiastic, responsible, and passionate about inspiring kids

• No teaching experience necessary — we provide training and resources

Volunteer Commitment 

• Flexible scheduling (school visits, after-school programs, summer camps)

• Options to volunteer for a single event or ongoing sessions

• Average time commitment: 2–6 hours per month
